Custom Magnolia Templates

One of the design goals of the Magnolia CMS is to make things easy for all parties involved. This session will show exactly how easy it is to write custom templates. The session will be split into two parts: a general introduction and overview of what is involved, and a second "hands-on" part where you will create a custom Magnolia template.

The workshop will focus on the next generation Magnolia 2.0 and as such will be interesting for both newcomers and experienced Magnolia template writers.

A new beta release of Magnolia 2.0 will be made available at latest two days before the workshop. Participants should bring to the workshop a laptop with this latest Magnolia Technology Preview installed. Vinzenz Wyser has a profound knowledge and experience designing human-computer interaction and user interfaces, both conceptually as well as technically. He has written the current implementation of the Magnolia user interface and is a Magnolia template-builder deluxe.
